Prince William, Kate Middleton’s ‘Strange,’ Similar Facial Scars Photos Resurface
Prince William and Kate Middleton strangely have similar facial scars.
“Prince William Has a Facial Scar and It's Strangely Similar to Kate Middleton's,” one Twitter user posted.
The Duke of Cambridge is not shy about his facial scar. In fact, during a visit to Evelina London Children’s Hospital, he showed it to the children there.
Prince William got his scar from a freak accident. He was hit by a golf club during one of his games. The duke calls it his Harry Potter scar because sometimes it glows, making it more noticeable than the other times when it doesn’t.
“I got hit by a golf club when I was playing golf with a friend of mine. We were on a putting green and the next thing you know there was a seven-iron and it came out of nowhere and it hit me in the head,” he said about the accident. Here’s a closer look at Prince William’s Harry Potter scar.
Middleton has a facial scar that’s similar to her husband’s. The Duchess of Cambridge’s has a three-inch scar that was first noticed decades ago and was mistaken for hair extensions. To end the speculations at the time, Kensington Palace released a statement saying, “The scar is related to a childhood operation.”
Middleton’s operation remains unknown. The palace declined to release further details, stating that it was a private matter.
However, John Scurr, a consultant surgeon at the Lister Hospital in London has shared his thoughts about it. According to him, it’s likely not a serious medical condition like a tumor. He said that it was a result of an arteriovenous malformation like a birthmark being removed.
Prince William and Middleton reportedly spent Valentine’s Day apart due to their royal duties. The royal mom of three was spotted taking their youngest son Prince Louis for a walk around Kensington Palace Gardens.
In related news, Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle reportedly lost at least 150,000 followers on social media overnight. The four royals do not have personal accounts on social media, but there is one Instagram account for them that’s being managed by Kensington Palace.
