Prince Harry Rumored To Be Reading ‘Military-Style’ Parenting Book To Please Meghan
Prince Harry is rumored to be reading a military-style parenting book to please his wife, Meghan Markle.
Becky Pemberton, a journalist for The Sun, claimed that the military-style parenting book was given to the Duke of Sussex by his army friends to help him gear up for the arrival of his firstborn. An unnamed source was quoted as saying, “Harry’s never been in any way academic but he’s very interested in being a good father and wants to please Meghan so he is knuckling down. The army friends are a bit of a substitute and are very active, capable fathers themselves.”
The source added that Prince Harry’s friends in the army want to make sure that he will not lose his sense of humor when he becomes a dad. And other than the military-style parenting book, Prince Harry’s friends also gifted him with other publications.
One of them is “The Expectant Father: The Everything Father To Be” by Kevin Nelson, which explains how couples can still have an active sex life during pregnancy.
The third book, titled “Commando Dad: New Recruit,” is by ex-royal engineer Commando Neil Sinclair. In his book, Sinclair said that nothing could have prepared him for becoming a dad of three. He also said that being a stay-at-home dad was much more daunting than serving in the military.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told the publication that Prince Harry will undoubtedly be keen to learn the experiences of other dads while waiting to become a father himself.
“He spent a decade in the military which some might regard as good training for what can be very joyous but also very tough,” he said.
Prince Harry and Markle will welcome their first child in the Spring. There are rumors that the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant with a baby boy. However, she and the Duke of Sussex decided to wait until after their baby is born to know its gender.
