Prince Harry ‘Smitten,’ ‘Intrigued’ By This Woman And It’s Not Meghan Markle

Prince Harry’s heart was captured by another woman before he met Meghan Markle. Unfortunately, his previous relationship didn’t last even though he was intrigued and smitten over Chelsy Davy.

In the book “Harry: Life, Loss, and Love,” royal author Katie Nicholl said that the Duke of Sussex became intrigued by Davy’s stories, and he was especially smitten over the woman’s beauty and strikingly long hair. But beyond this, Prince Harry also reveled in the fact that Davy was very talented.

“She was a talented horsewoman who could ride bareback and a fearless adventurer who, it was said, had strangled snakes with her bare hands. She was also extremely bright and had returned home to take a place at the University of Cape Town to study politics, philosophy, and economics,” Nicholl said.

Prince Harry reached out to his friend, Simon Diss, for Davy’s number before he left Cape Town. While in South Africa, the new dad was photographed enjoying a passionate embrace with Davy on the dance floor of a nightclub.

According to Nicholl, there was no denying the fact that the chemistry between Prince Harry and Davy was very strong. As such, the latter decided to move to the United Kingdom so that he could be closer to Prince Harry. Their relationship lasted for seven years before they called it quits.

Davy’s parents instantly fell in love with Prince Harry. After visiting South Africa, Prince Harry took Davy to Argentina. A source told Daily Mail at that time that the couple is just like any other couple in love.

“They looked madly in love, and at one point Harry admitted that she was his first true love,” a source said.

Sources revealed that just before Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot, Davy already made the decision to end her relationship with Prince Harry. This was after she realized that royal life isn’t for her. Shortly after their split, Prince Harry dated Markle.
