Prince Harry was spotted in public for the first time after his and Meghan Markle's bombshell CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Nearly two weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's explosive tell-all, Prince Harry was photographed riding an electric bike through the streets of Montecito, California, People reported.
For the outing, Markle's husband sported a matching black ensemble comprising a hooded sweatshirt and pants. He also donned a baseball cap, sunglasses and face mask. A security team was also spotted following closely behind him.
Prince Harry's sighting comes after he and Markle made headlines for their revelations during their tell-all with Winfrey, which aired on CBS on March 7.
During the interview, the Duke of Sussex said his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William were "trapped" within the monarchy. Prince Harry and Markle also claimed that some members of the royal family had "concerns" and "conversations" about how dark their son’s skin would be before he was born.
Prince Harry further discussed his relationship with Prince Charles, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II in the interview. The Duke of Sussex shared that his father stopped picking up his calls when he revealed that he and Markle wanted to step back as working royals.
"There's a lot to work through there, you know? I feel really let down, because he's been through something similar," Prince Harry said of his dad. "He knows what pain feels like, and this is-- and Archie's his grandson. But, at the same time, you know, I-- of course I will always love him, but there's a lot of hurt that's happened. And-- and I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship."
Prince Harry has already spoken to his family since the interview aired, but their conversations were "unproductive," according to the Sussexes’ pal, Gayle King.
"Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father, too," King said on "CBS This Morning" Tuesday. "The word I was given was those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation."
