The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are getting ready to bring their first baby into the world. It looks like Prince Harry is trying to be as supportive as possible, even taking a lighter workload to be there for his wife in her final weeks of pregnancy.

On “Good Morning America,” it was revealed that Meghan has first-time mom jitters, and Harry is trying to stay with her as much as possible. “Sources close to Meghan say that like any new mom-to-be, she’s feeling somewhat nervous as the due date approaches, but Harry is there by her side,” royal correspondent Omid Scobie explained. “He’s decreased a lot of his work to be there for his wife.”

Prince Harry’s last public royal engagement was on March 20, and he isn’t set to make another appearance until April 4. He and Prince William will go with their father, Prince Charles, to the world premiere of Netflix’s “Our Planet.” Sir David Attenborough will host the event.

Meghan, meanwhile, appears to be on maternity leave. She doesn’t have any public engagements on the slate, but she is working behind closed doors. The mother-to-be is said to be meeting with various members of the charities with which she is involved.

The former actress is supposedly already working on her comeback. As previously reported, Meghan is thought to be taking about six months of maternity leave. She and Prince Harry could make their first public post-maternity leave appearance together at the One Young World summit in London in October. The organization has a partnership with the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, of which Meghan is Vice President.

The Duchess’ exact due date is unknown. While she reportedly told well-wishers earlier this year that she was due in late April or early May, many have speculated that the royal baby could be born even earlier. Kensington Palace has only said to expect the child to arrive in spring.
