Prince Harry ‘Wary’ Of Meghan Markle, Doria At Cookbook Launch, Says Expert

Prince Harry may have been wary of Meghan Markle and Doria Ragland at the Grenfell Tower event they attended last month.

Judi James, a body language expert, told Express that it was quite different to see Markle walking with her mom and in front of Prince Harry at an official engagement. Prince Harry, who is an experienced royal, often leads the way during his and his wife’s outings.

Prince Harry walking behind the two women could have been his way of offering them his support. However, James said that his body language evoked something more.

“This could have been Harry offering support and guidance for his mother-in-law but instead he stands to look rather wary of the mother and daughter power duo here and even clasping his hands and grinning like an over-awed fan of Meghan,” James said.

The body language expert added, “Harry’s status lowering could have been deliberate to offer Meghan and her mother space to shine but there seems to be no real attempt to line up and cluster as a family unit.”

Meanwhile, James noted that there are some similarities between Markle and Ragland during the former’s cookbook launch.

“Doria’s body language suggests she is in possession of similar levels of confidence as her daughter and if anything it’s Harry showing signs of nerves. There are some signs of postural echo or mirroring that suggest the real power trail here,” she said.

In related news, one of Markle’s gestures may have also hinted that she’s expecting her first child with Prince Harry. However, her husband mimicking the same movement prevented people from speculating on Markle’s possible pregnancy.

“When Meghan emerged from her car, she walked off clutching her coat together at stomach height with one hand. This cut-off gesture could have sparked pregnancy rumors but it was interesting how Harry mimicked it with one hand to his own waist. Later though he was mirroring Doria using a much more bent and compliant looking handclasp, hinting he might quietly be in awe of both women,” James explained.
