Prince Harry Went Missing For 48 Hours, ‘Not Happy’ With Meghan Markle
Prince Harry reportedly went missing.
The Duke of Sussex joined a charity polo match against his brother, the Duke of Cambridge, on July 10. Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle were present to show their support to their husbands and brought their kids along.
However, according to a new report, Prince Harry made the palace worry after he went missing for 48 hours following the game. The source implied that he is no longer happy with his wife, Markle.
“Harry was basically uncontactable for 48 hours and everyone was frantic with worry,” the insider told New Idea.
Many were hoping that the polo match would bring Prince Harry and Prince William closer following the claims about their rumored feud. However, the publication noted that it served additional stress for the first-time dad after facing a lot of controversy surrounding Archie’s christening a week ago.
In the photos taken after the polo match, Prince Harry is seen approaching his wife and son. He “appeared uptight and looked upon his wife with disdain,” one onlooker said.
“It’s clear there are things on his mind and that he’s not happy with Meghan Markle. He walked out and just took off,” the insider continued.
“He switched off his phone and ditched his security detail, so he was impossible to trace. Of course, no-one knew what was going on and everyone was worried something terrible had happened.”
Prince Harry reportedly felt that he let down everyone. He didn’t expect the backlash over Archie’s christening and he found it difficult to balance his royal duties and Markle’s demands. Other sources said that it was Prince Harry who wanted to make the details of their baby private, but the source said it was Markle who wanted a private service.
Prince Harry has been under pressure but Markle’s rumored recent antics have tipped him over the edge. The former “Suits” star is reportedly keeping notes about her life and a few personal details about Archie and Prince Harry because she wants to write a memoir.
One should still take those reports with a grain of salt. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex just attended the star-studded lineup of the “Lion King” premiere in London on Sunday. As usual, they looked loved up and were holding hands upon arrival in a clip shared by Omid Scobie on Twitter.
