Prince Harry Will Imitate Prince William’s Tactic Of ‘Ferociously Protecting’ His Children
Prince Harry will reportedly follow in the footsteps of Prince William when it comes to protecting his children.
Michelle Tauber, a senior editor of People, said that hearing the Duke of Sussex talk about Princess Diana during his recent outing in The Hague was quite heartbreaking. At that time, the new dad said that the arrival of his son, Archie Harrison, made him miss his late mother even more.
According to Tauber, after Prince Harry saw his vulnerable newborn son being brought into the world, he was reminded of what he missed out on growing up. Meghan Markle’s husband was just 12 years old when he lost his mother following a fatal car crash in Paris.
During his bike ride in the Netherlands, Prince Harry told former soldier Dennis van der Stroon that fatherhood reminded him of the late Princess of Wales.
“Actually, William talked about these milestone moments especially with weddings and so forth, that’s when they miss Diana the most. One of the things he said on that bike ride was, ‘I realized a mother is a security and I realized that when I lost my mom, I lost that security and a son needs that… I thought that was really quite heartbreaking because it’s true,” she said.
The source also said that Prince Harry would be protective of his son especially since he knows what it’s like to lose a parent. And since his older brother, Prince William, already has three children, he would follow his ways.
“William has been ferociously protective of his children. We actually don’t see them that much… I am certain Meghan and Harry will be emanating that,” she said.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been doing a great job when it comes to giving Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis a normal childhood. The royal couple knows that when their children get older, they would have to face the fact that they would also have royal duties and responsibilities.
