Prince Harry once told Prince William that he could do anything he wanted.

The Duke of Cambridge is the second in line to the throne. He will be king after his father, Prince Charles. When Prince William and Prince Harry were still kids, the latter reportedly boasted that he is free to do anything he wishes because he will not be a king.

Princess Diana's former protection officer, Ken Wharfe, spoke about Prince Harry's declaration on "Robert Jobson's Royal Podcast." According to him, it happened during a car ride with Princess Diana and their nanny when the boys were only children.

"It's alright, I can do anything because I won't be King. You will be, therefore I can do what I want," Prince Harry reportedly told Prince William.

Wharfe noted how Prince William "gleefully liked" the acknowledgment from his younger brother. There was "an acknowledgment that at least his brother knew that he would be King." He added that as children, he found their conversation funny.

Although Prince Harry, who is currently sixth in line to the throne, is unlikely to be king, his mom reportedly believed that he would have made a good king. In fact, Princess Diana called her youngest son "Good King Harry."

"Many, including Diana, thought that Harry – given his predilection to being quite robust and good at taking orders would have made a good king himself," Wharfe explained.

Prince William and Prince Harry have been working together for years with Kate Middleton. Their joint effort earned them the moniker the "royal trio." However, following Meghan Markle's arrival, the royals are embroiled in a controversial tension.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly moving out of Kensington Palace because they don't want to live near Duke and Duchess of Cambridge due to a tension with Prince William. The palace already confirmed that Prince Harry and Markle are moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor early next year before the arrival of their baby.

However, another source claimed that the brother's fallout was due to their wives Middleton and Markle who don't get along well with each other.

"Kate and Meghan are very different people," the insider said. "They don’t really get on."
