Prince Harry’s Ex Chelsy Davy Gives Update On Life After Duke Married Meghan Markle

Chelsy Davy gave update about her life after Prince Harry married Meghan Markle.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to the U.K. after announcing that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family. Prior to marrying Markle, Prince Harry had an on-again, off-again relationship with the Zimbabwean businesswoman who just gave an update about her life.

Davy is spending her time between London and Cape Town, South Africa. Prince Harry’s ex is now trying to expander her Aya jewelry brand which she started back in 2016 after she took part on a year long course with the Gemological Institute of America. She is reportedly trying to bring her brand to the travel sector.

“It’s an organic progression from the jewellery. Africa is where I’m from, where my family is from; it’s my heritage and I’ve always been interested in tourism and conservation,” Davy said (via Express ).

Davy is also about to become a godmother to Lady Melissa Percy’s first child, her friend whom Prince Harry introduced to her. When asked about her life, Davy gave a positive response hinting that she had no regrets that she didn’t end up with the royal prince.

“I’m very happy with where I am right now. I’m happy with everything. I’m doing something in Africa that I’m passionate about and I’m excited for what my vision is and what that will create. Everything is falling into place,” Davy said.

In a past interview, Davy confessed that she wasn’t able to adjust well to the media scrutiny she faced when she was dating Prince Harry. She admitted that it was “difficult” and “uncomfortable.”

“It was so full-on. Crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn't cope ... I was trying to be a normal kid, and it was horrible,” she said.

Prince Harry and Davy were very serious with their relationship. In fact, she gave the duke a key to her apartment and Prince William’s brother stayed there on weekends. Prince Harry reportedly preferred Davy’s apartment than Prince Charles’ Clarence home.
