Prince Harry’s Girlfriend Meghan Markle Attending Pippa Middleton’s Wedding? Actress Receives Invitation

Prince Harry will not be alone on Pippa Middleton’s wedding because his girlfriend, Meghan Markle, is apparently also invited to the ceremony. However, the “no ring, no bring” policy still applies because the “Suits” star will reportedly only get to attend the evening party.

A source told People that Markle, 35, will not be present at the ceremony at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, England. However, she has been invited to attend the reception after the nuptials along with her boyfriend, Prince Harry, 32. The source added that the reason why Markle cannot attend the actual wedding is because Middleton’s “no ring, no bring” policy is still in place and prohibits unmarried couples from attending the event.

According to Myka Meier, Kate Middleton’s sister wanted to keep her wedding intimate, so she kept her wedding guests limited by enforcing the “no ring, no bring” policy. In addition, when Pippa made the wedding guest list, Prince Harry and Markle’s relationship was not yet known to the public. Pippa’s upcoming wedding is expected to be a royal affair because Kate and Prince William’s royal children are joining the entourage.

Even if Markle will only be able to join Prince Harry at the reception, this could be taken as a positive indication that the couple’s relationship is getting serious. Last month, the “Horrible Bosses” star and the royal prince attended his best friend’s wedding in Jamaica.

According to Hello magazine, Prince Harry’s girlfriend has already requested some time off from filming her hit TV series on USA Network. Markle reportedly asked to take a week leave, from May 15 to 22. This will give her enough time to travel to the U.K. and attend Pippa’s wedding to fiancé James Matthews which is scheduled on May 20.

While some sources claim that Pippa enforces the “no ring, no bring” policy to keep her wedding guest list small, other royal insiders believe that the bride-to-be just doesn’t want to be outshined on her big day. “It’s clear Pippa doesn’t want to be outshone by any TV babes on her big day,” one source told The Sun. The publication reported that her future brother-in-law’s girlfriend, Vogue Williams, is among those who were not invited to the ceremony like Markle.
