Prince Harry’s Girlfriend Meghan Markle New Details Revealed: Actress Has Squeaky Clean Past
Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle didn’t have the fame the British Royal had when he was a teenager, but she was nominated for prom queen in high school. The “Suits” actress was motivated in her school days, focused on her future.
It’s also where she found her love for theater. She starred in several plays at Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles, an all-girls Catholic school. “She was bubbly, optimistic and positive. She was also very focused and had her eye on the prize – she knew where she wanted to go to college and she knew she wanted to do drama,” a schoolmate, who wasn’t named, told People Magazine in an exclusive report Wednesday. “She had the talent and focus to back it up and you could tell she knew the work it would take and she was willing to put in the work.”
Markle, 35, graduated in 1999. She joins celebrity alumni like model Tyra Banks, actress and comedian Pat Carroll and actress Mary Tyler Moore.
Even though they’re in a long distance relationship, they’re trying to make it work. Harry, 32, traveled to her home in Toronto to visit her Halloween weekend, Us Weekly reported Wednesday. “He was buzzing with excitement when he arrived,” an insider said, adding that a “car was waiting at the airport so he could be driven to Meghan’s house.”
The prince is smitten with his new love. “Harry’s in a really good place. Being able to find his true purpose through his work and now being able to share it with someone else,” the source told Us Weekly Wednesday. “Everyone is so happy for him.”
Markle is just as thrilled. “My cup runneth over and I’m the luckiest girl in the world,” she told the Vancouver Sun Tuesday. She was talking about her career and upcoming fashion line with Canadian retailer Reitmans, but many assume she was talking about Harry.
The two might even get engaged. “That is certainly a possibility,” a different source told People Magazine in a different report Tuesday. “It is certainly one possible outcome. It’s pretty serious, so we will see.”
