Prince Harry’s Son Archie Inherits Ginger Hair, Reignites James Hewitt Paternal Rumors

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie has ginger hair and this has reignited the rumors that the duke’s father is James Hewitt.

On Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie was baptized. The couple opted to keep the event private but released official photos after the ceremony.

For the first time, fans were able to get a glimpse of Prince Harry and Markle’s son with his hair. A number of netizens said that he inherited Prince Harry’s ginger hair and this reignited the rumors that Prince Harry’s real father is Hewitt, Daily Star reported.

“He has ginger hair like his dad and grandad James Hewitt,” one netizen commented on Chris Ship’s post on Twitter.

“ Yaaaaayyyyy he’s ginger!!!!!!!!” a different user wrote.

“Bit unfair on Harry not to invite his father,” another netizen wrote implying about Hewitt’s absence in the event.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles were both present at Archie’s christening. Thus, it is clear the netizen was referring to Hewitt, Prince Harry’s rumored dad. Prince William and Kate Middleton were also in attendance, but their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, were missing.

Prince Harry and Markle welcomed their baby in May. Many congratulated Hewitt on Twitter for becoming a grandfather following Archie’s arrival. Those who did were people who believed that the former cavalry officer is Prince Harry’s biological father.

The conspiracy about Hewitt being Prince Harry’s biological father has been circulating for years even if Hewitt already denied it. According to him, Prince Harry was already a toddler when he met him and when he and Princess Diana were in a relationship. He didn’t deny that they have the same hair color but stressed that he is not Prince Harry’s dad.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana’s protection officer Ken Wharfe said in the book “Diana: Closely Guarded Secret” that the rumors angered the late Princess of Wales. Many love to cite Prince Harry and Hewitt’s ginger hair as proof of their relationship. However, Princess Diana’s brother also has the same color because it’s a “Spencer trait.”
