Prince William Does This Surprising, Adorable Thing For Princess Charlotte
Prince William, like wife Kate Middleton, is a hands-on parent to his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, And the royal prince recently revealed one cute thing that he does for his only daughter at home.
On Wednesday, Prince William and Middleton braved the rain during their visit to the traditional resort town of Blackpool on the northwest coast of England, People reported. While there, Prince William got the chance to talk to some fellow fathers who are part of a group called Dads 4 Life. He and his wife were shown some of the work made by the members who often meet up and develop their DIY skills.
One of the fathers had Prince William and Middleton laughing when he revealed that he found brushing and styling his daughter's hair a very difficult task. In response, Prince William recalled his own struggles with Princess Charlotte's hair.
"Never try to do a ponytail! Nightmare," Prince William said of his attempts at styling Princess Charlotte's hair, according to Hello!
However, Prince William seems to have mastered at least one hairstyle after years of practice as he added, "I can do Charlotte a ponytail but that’s about it as I don’t have enough hair to practice on!"
His wife, on the other hand, shared that plaiting Princess Charlotte's hair is even more challenging, saying, "Have you tried to do a plait? It’s the weaving… Really hard."
During the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's walkabout in Blackpool, Prince William also shared that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all have a sweet tooth. When he was given some Blackpool rock by a group of children, the royal prince told them that his three kids would love to eat the treats.
Meanwhile, Middleton seems to think that Blackpool would be the perfect location for their next getaway with the kids, as she told well-wishers that there was "so much here" that George, Charlotte and Louis would enjoy.
According to Kensington Palace's Twitter, Prince William and Middleton paid a visit to Kirby Road to "see the realities of the town’s housing problems and the significant work under way to resolve these."
The royal couple also met up with people involved in Blackpool's "A Better Start" programme, including practitioners from Blackpool Hospital, health visitors, Family Nurse Partnership and parents.
