Prince William's and Kate Middleton's big day is only about a week away.

While the bride and groom are finalizing last minute details for their wedding, the entire city of London is also in preparation mode.

Princess-to-be Kate Middleton was spotted in London on King's Road, possibly shopping for her upcoming honeymoon.

While the destination has yet to be announced, people are speculating it will be someplace warm, and summery such as Corfu, Greece or Jordan.

In terms of the preparations, metropolitan police officers conducted security checks on drains and lamp posts along the Mall, while workers cleaned and prepared Westminster Abbey in central London.

Members of the Coldstream Guards band also marched past Buckingham Palace while rehearsing for the royal wedding.

The Royal Wedding will take place next Friday, April 29 at Westminster Abbey. The wedding will be broadcast live by BBC and through YouTube. Check out some photos of the preparations.
