Prince William, Kate Middleton’s Norfolk Country Home Features These Stunning Details
Prince William and Kate Middleton were gifted with Anmer Hall on Queen Elizabeth II’s Sandringham estate following their 2011 wedding.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lived there for a couple of years before deciding to return to Kensington Palace. The red-brick building of Anmer Hall reportedly has an incredible façade, and its interiors are equally stunning.
Even though Anmer Hall is regarded as private property, the royal couple has shared a glimpse of what their home looks like when they released their children’s photos.
In June 2015, Prince William and Kate Middleton released an adorable photo of Prince George cradling a newborn Princess Charlotte in his arms. In the snap, the third in line to the throne is also kissing Princess Charlotte’s forehead.
The siblings are positioned on a white chair inside Anmer Hall. The blurred background suggests that the interior in Anmer Hall, or at least in the particular room in the photo, is painted in cream shade.
Months later, a photo of Princess Charlotte was once again released. In the snap, Princess Charlotte is wearing a pink floral dress while sitting on a green and yellow checkered couch. In another photo, Princess Charlotte is sitting in a customized grey chair that is just right for her small size.
In both pictures, the backgrounds are once again blurred out. But it suggests that the couch inside Anmer Hall is in a cream shade as well. The couch is also adorned with colorful throw pillows.
On May 2016, a photo of Princess Charlotte playing outside Anmer Hall was released. She is pushing a colorful walker while smiling straight into the camera. The photo suggests that Anmer Hall has a huge garden area where Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis could play.
But shortly after Princess Charlotte was born, Prince William and Middleton decided to move to Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace. Their current home is closer to Prince George’s school Thomas’s Battersea. Princess Charlotte’s school, Willocks Nursery, is also just a few steps away from Kensington Palace.
