Prince William Managed Love Affairs Before Marrying Kate Middleton By Doing This
Prince William was one of the royals that were able to manage his love affairs even in the public eye.
Before marrying Kate Middleton, the Duke of Cambridge first dated a slew of women. And in the Netflix documentary “The Royals,” BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said that girls threw themselves at Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s eldest son especially when he was much younger.
Not much is known about Prince William’s relationships because he has managed to keep them low-key. Bond said that she doesn’t know how Prince William did it, but he was able to do so successfully. The royal expert said that it is tough for royals to have an affair or even a small romance because the relationship will certainly make headlines.
“He managed it. I think he put himself about a bit,” she said (via Express).
Jordan Paramor, a writer and journalist, seconded Bond’s statement and said that it must have been very hard for Prince William and Prince Harry to enter relationships when they were teenagers.
“I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult it would be to date a royal teenager. The speculation, the paparazzi, everyone is interested, everyone wants a piece of you,” he said.
But in the end, Prince William’s first very public relationship was with Middleton, and they ended up marrying each other in 2011. Prince Harry’s relationships with women were more public, but he ended up marrying Meghan Markle earlier this year.
In related news, the royal couples are now being plagued with falling out rumors after Prince Harry and Markle announced that they will be moving out of Kensington Palace early next year. Reports claimed that Prince William expressed his dislike of Markle before Prince Harry’s wedding.
There have also been rumors suggesting that Markle made Middleton cry during Princess Charlotte’s dress fitting. Royal fans are also convinced that Middleton reprimanded Markle for demanding so much from the palace staff. However, Kensington Palace released a statement and said that there is no truth to the reports.
