Prince William and Prince Harry's royal life is more challenging than their cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

According to Emma Batty, a journalist for Cosmopolitan, Prince Andrew's daughters enjoy an easier royal life compared to Prince Charles' sons. There are a number of reasons why the Duke of Cambridge, Duke of Sussex, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie live a different lifestyle even if they are brought up in the same royal family and you will find it below.

Order of Succession

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are technically 8th and 9th in line to the throne. On the other hand, Prince William is second in line. At the time, Prince Harry is in the sixth rank that's why he still needed the monarch's approval before he married Meghan Markle. Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice's don't need this anymore.

Regular Jobs

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice get to enjoy regular jobs. The next royal bride currently holds a director position at Hause & Wirth, a contemporary art gallery in Mayfair, London.

"What might people be surprised to learn? That I have a full-time job," Princess Eugenie told The Telegraph in an interview in 2016 about her employment. "I've loved art since I was very little. I knew I definitely wouldn't be a painter, but I knew this was the industry for me."

Although Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have regular jobs, Prince Andrew reportedly asked the Queen to have her daughters undertake official royal duties so they will be paid from the public purse. However, the Queen reportedly denied his request.

Social Media Accounts

Princess Eugenie has maintained her own Instagram account. Her mom, Ferguson, and dad, Prince Andrew, also own their personal accounts. In fact, at one point they were criticized for being Instagram royalty.

On the other hand, Prince William and Prince Harry don't. Even their respective wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle don't have their respective social media accounts.

In fact, the Duchess of Sussex deleted her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts months before she tied the knot with Prince Harry. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share one account - Kensington Palace.
