Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle's Possible Outfits For Princess Eugenie's Royal Wedding Revealed
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle will likely rewear an outfit for Princess Eugenie's royal wedding.
According to William Hanson, the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex will make sure that they will not upstage the bride. As a result, it is more likely that they will recycle their dresses at Princess Eugenie's big day.
Hanson explained that the upcoming royal wedding is not Markle and Middleton's day. The Duchess of Sussex had her big day last May. On the other hand, the Duchess of Cambridge had her's in 2011. So for Hanson, an etiquette expert, they "would probably wear something that we've seen before. Something that not blends in and doesn't stand out and that goes out for any domestic weddings as well."
Middleton has been doing this already. In fact, she attended Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs' wedding last month with a recycled dress. She rewore her blue Catherine Walker dress that matches the theme. So, many believe that she will recycle another outfit for Princess Eugenie's royal wedding.
"Kate is known for her demure, ladylike style. Never one to veer towards loud prints or looks that sit on the line of what’s appropriate and what's not, Kate will no doubt be impeccably dressed for Eugenie’s nuptials on the 12th of October, without making too much of a statement and risking detracting from the bride," Madeleine Lee of The Telegraph wrote.
According to People, Ladbrokes is already placing bets on everything about Princess Eugenie's nuptials from the what color Queen Elizabeth II will wear (pink is the current favorite at 5/2) to what Prince William and Prince Harry's wives will wear.
The current odds predict that Middleton and Markle will wear an outfit from their own wedding dress designers. So, the Duchess of Cambridge may arrive in Alexander McQueen wardrobe and the Duchess of Sussex in Givenchy.
Middleton's wore an off-white bespoke Alexander McQueen coat dress at Prince Harry and Markle's royal wedding. This is a staple of her wardrobe. In fact, she has worn it to Princess Charlotte's christening and at 2016 Trooping the Colour.
On the other hand, Markle wore a Givenchy long-sleeved, unembellished wearing gown during her solo outing with the Queen. She also wore a black dress with long sheer sleeves and a slit up front fo the skirt during her first solo outing as a royal. So, she might wear any of these on Friday.
