Princess Anne Made Prince Charles Look Good During Tour By Doing This
Princess Anne and Prince Charles could not be more different from each other, but the former managed to make the latter look good during one of their joint engagements.
In the book “The Royals,” author Kitty Kelley said that during one of the siblings’ tours, Prince Charles was believed to be ingratiating and Princess Anne dismissive. The difference in their personalities were made evident with the way that they dealt with the press while on tour.
“Charles tolerated tedious questions from reporters, she refused. He smiled for photographers, she swatted them like nasty flies,” Kelley said.
According to the author, Prince Charles and Princess Anne became closer to each other after their tour of Australia and the United States to represent Queen Elizabeth II. However, the siblings’ bond appears to be short-lived because there have also been reports claiming that they do not always get along.
Nowtolove.com quoted a source as saying that Prince Charles and Princess Anne have actually been feuding with each other for the past 49 years and it has to do with Camilla Parker Bowles.
“Charles and Anne are always civil with each other, especially when they’re around the Queen or in public, but the reality is that they’re not close. There have been whispers about their ongoing feud for many years now,” an unnamed source said.
The royal siblings have been described as somewhat like chalk and cheese because they are very different from each other. Princess Anne is free-spirited and she also loves martinis and fish and chips. Prince Charles, on the other hand, is a healthy eater.
Prince Charles is also a stickler for rules, while Princess Anne is known as a bit of a rebel. The alleged feud between the siblings got worse after Prince Charles got into a relationship with Camilla knowing that her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, had an affair with Princess Anne.
Princess Anne and Andrew are still friends today.
