Princess Anne and Camilla Parker Bowles once fell in love with the same man and around the same time.

Andrew Parker Bowles was Princess Anne’s first love. However, it was Camilla who married him in the 1970s. Unfortunately, Camilla and Andrew’s marriage was short-lived. At present, Camilla is already married to Prince Charles.

But several decades ago, Princess Anne was madly in love with Andrew. But she was still too young and she didn’t think that Andrew would be faithful to her.

Royal expert Phil Dampier also claimed that Princess Anne lost her virginity to Camilla’s ex-husband.

Meanwhile, even though Princess Anne and Camilla both fell in love with Andrew, the trio wasn’t involved in a love triangle. While speaking with Vanity Fair, royal author Sally Bedell Smith that there was no overlap between Andrew’s relationship with the two royals.

Princess Anne and Andrew started dating in 1970. Prince Charles and Camilla, on the other hand, started dating in 1972. And during this time, Princess Anne and Andrew have long broken up.

In the book “The Diana Chronicles,” royal author Tina Brown said that Andrew just used Princess Anne as a diversion. However, Andrew was not keen on getting into anything serious with her.

Years later, Princess Anne decided to marry Mark Phillips, but their union ended in 1992. Princess Royal is currently married to Timothy Laurence.
