Princess Beatrice reportedly canceled her engagement party due to Prince Andrew.

Princess Eugenie’s sister is the next royal bride to walk down the aisle. A few months back, Buckingham Palace announced Princess Beatrice’s engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Unfortunately, the royal family is plagued with several controversies ahead of her big day. Due to this, she had to move her engagement party.

According to Becky Pemberton of News.com.au, the bride-to-be decided to cancel her engagement party in London because of her father. Initially, the couple sent out invites for a bash held at Chiltern Firehouse on Dec. 18, but she decided to change the date for fear that the venue will be flocked with photographers looking for the Duke of York.

“The venue choice caused alarm among pals concerned it was far too high-profile given the sensitive time her family is going through,” an insider told Mail on Sunday.

The publication added that Princess Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi have changed the date, so Prince Andrew can “sneak in under the radar.” The pair is also reportedly instructed not to announce their wedding date until after the general election.

Princess Beatrice’s father has been in hot water for months due to his connection with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. According to a source, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice were upset with the issue. The princesses were convinced that their father made a huge mistake in judgment after being associated with Epstein.

Prince Andrew made another major blunder when he did the Newsnight interview. According to sources, the Duke and Duchess of York agreed to do it in hopes of giving his public image a better chance of recovery. However, it only backfired because many believed that it would have been better if the royal kept his silence.

One insider felt that by speaking up, Prince Andrew ruined Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding. Due to the various issues against Prince Andrew, there have been rumors claiming that Princess Beatrice might not invite her own father to her wedding.
