Princess Beatrice May Wed Boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Months After Dating

Princess Beatrice is rumored to wed her new boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, in the coming months.

Mozzi and Princess Beatrice have actually known each other for years but it was only recently that they started dating. Relationship experts are convinced that they are a perfect match so they believe that a royal wedding could take place soon.

Mairead Molloy, a relationship psychologist and the global director of Berkeley International, told Express that the fact that the couple has similar upbringings makes them a strong match in the long-run.

“Humans tend to feel more comfortable with like-minded people with similar interests, values, and education – dating someone from a different social milieu can be tricky at times. It is likely that if Beatrice and Edoardo were to marry, they would have similar views on where to live, who they want to spend time with, as well as where to send their children to school,” Molloy said.

Another good thing about the couple’s relationship is the fact that they have already met each other’s families as friends. As such, deciding to become a couple might have been easier for the two.

Relationship expert and Love Coach Kate Mansfield seconded Molloy’s statement and said that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi’s pre-existing friendship makes them a good match.

For Mansfield, starting out as friends allowed them to get to know each other for who they really are. Jumping into a relationship without being friends first could lead to some problems and challenges later on.

Meanwhile, there are also some downsides to dating a long-time friend. In the event that a break up takes place, things could become messy for them and their pals.

“There will also have been more thought around the impact of a potential breakup as this could be detrimental for their friendship and could make things uncomfortable for mutual friends,” she said.
