Sarah Ferguson Made This Shocking Mistake Days After Princess Beatrice’s Birth
Sarah Ferguson reportedly made a shocking mistake just days after she gave birth to Princess Beatrice in 1988.
In the YouTube documentary “Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York,” archived footage of the Duchess of York’s life shows how Ferguson tumbled down the stairs while carrying Princess Beatrice in her arms. Ferguson just stepped out of The Portland Hospital at that time, and she was on her way to her vehicle.
“The baby had a dusting of hair – reddish of course. When Fergie handed the baby over to her father, it was with absolute confidence… Then the Duchess made a mistake – a mistake quite in character,” the narrator said.
“On her way to the car, she spotted someone in the crowd with a bouquet of flowers. She rushed over in her new shoes,” the narrator continued.
Luckily, Princess Beatrice was with Prince Andrew at that time. Ferguson did not also need the assistance of her royal aides because she was able to act as though nothing happened.
It seems as though Ferguson has the habit of reaching out to the public during her outings. In October, she also spotted someone she knew from the crowds waiting outside St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s nuptials.
Ferguson went straight to her friend and greeted her. She also gave the woman a tight hug before entering the chapel. Princess Beatrice also arrived at the wedding venue together with her mom. The two women reportedly share a close bond with each other.
The Duchess of York is also close to her youngest daughter Princess Eugenie. In fact, the 28-year-old just shared a throwback photo of her parents via her Instagram account.
In the snap, a young Ferguson is photographed with curly hair. A handsome looking Prince Andrew as a toddler is smiling while playing with his stuffed animal. The Duke of York is wearing a matching blue attire in the photo.
