Princess Beatrice’s wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is rumored to have already been canceled.

The royal couple is scheduled to tie the knot next year. But speculations suggesting that Princess Beatrice’s nuptials won’t push through have been rife ever since Prince Andrew was accused of having sex with underage girls.

A source told OK! magazine that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s eldest daughter and her fiancé realized that canceling the wedding is what’s best for everyone.

“Beatrice and Edoardo had a long talk and determined it would be best if they canceled the wedding. What was supposed to be a magical time in Beatrice’s life has turned into a nightmare – and it’s her father’s fault,” an unnamed source said.

The insider went on to say that Prince Andrew is aware that he’s the reason why Princess Beatrice’s wedding won’t push through. During his conversation with his eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice told her dad that she’s upset over his interview with BBC’s Emily Maitlis.

Queen Elizabeth is also rumored to be directly affected by Princess Beatrice and Mozzi’s plan to cancel their wedding. Her Majesty is in a very difficult position during the holiday season.

As of late, Buckingham Palace has not yet released an official announcement confirming the so-called cancelation of Princess Beatrice and Mozzi’s wedding. This means that their nuptials will still push through.

Earlier this week, a source close to the couple told Daily Mail that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi will announce their wedding date next month. And since the official engagement announcement revealed that their nuptials will take place in the early summer months, it will most likely take place in June.

The Queen has requested for his granddaughter’s wedding date to not interfere with the Royal Ascot, which also happens in June. After all, this is one of the monarch’s favorite engagements.
