Princess Beatrice’s wedding guests are not allowed inside the Buckingham Palace during the reception.

Despite all the drama surrounding the royal family, Princess Beatrice’s upcoming royal wedding is happening. The palace confirmed earlier that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding would take place on May 29.

The Queen didn’t allow Princess Eugenie’s older sister to marry at St. George’s Chapel where she and Prince Harry married their spouses. However, the Queen suggested to host the reception at the Buckingham Palace. However, the gathering will be outside the palace and the guests will not be allowed to go insider the Queen’s residence.

“Princess Beatrice will be confined to her posh tent in the gardens of Buckingham Palace when she marries Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in May,” Charlotte Griffith wrote for Daily Mail.

“Bea and Edo are due to wed at the 150-seat Chapel Royal, before a reception in the Palace gardens. But guests will not be allowed to enter the Palace itself – and the couple cannot even have official photos taken inside.”

Previous reports claimed that Princess Beatrice was already furious at the continuous delay of her wedding announcement. The royal family has faced various controversies from her father Prince Andrew’s Epstein scandal to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle renouncing their royal roles. Despite those issues, Princess Beatrice’s big day is happening and the Queen wants every member of the royal family to be there.

“The press officers of all the palaces hope to portray the Beatrice wedding as the big event that brings the family back together again. Aides know this will be a tough job, but it’s all they can do not just to save the wedding, but potentially the monarchy’s reputation,” a source said.

Meanwhile, royal correspondent Camilla Tominey claimed that Princess Beatrice was worried about Markle upstaging her on her wedding day. Prince Harry and Markle are still part of the family and are expected to be among the wedding guests.

Another insider said earlier that Princess Beatrice had no plans to invite the Sussexes if she could have it her way. There was reportedly tension between the York princesses and the Sussexes which started when Markle stole Princess Eugenie’s thunder on her wedding day by allegedly announcing her pregnancy at the event.
