Princess Diana Introduces Prince Harry To The World In Unearthed Video
Prince Harry’s first introduction to the public has been revisited after the Duke of Sussex announced that the arrival of his child will be kept private.
In the unearthed video, photographers are standing outside the gate of St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing waiting for information about the newborn son of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Shortly after, the camera pans to show the royal fans that are also waiting in the location.
Prince Charles arrived at the hospital with an adorable 2-year-old Prince William who is dressed in a white collared blouse and red shorts. The second in line to the throne looks distracted by all of the people standing outside waiting for his brother.
The Prince of Wales entered the facility after he escorted Prince William into the premises. Before going inside, Prince Charles glanced at the people outside the gate and he waved at them.
Moments later, Prince Charles stepped out of the hospital with Princess Diana beside him. The Princess of Wales is carrying a sleeping Prince Harry in her arms. Princess Diana is dressed in an all-red ensemble. Her face and hair are made up.
Prince Charles and Princess Diana both look happy with the arrival of Prince Harry. However, it was also evident that the then husband and wife did not make any physical contact with each other. While Princess Diana was going down the stairs and carrying Prince Harry, Prince Charles did not assist them.
But when Princess Diana rode the car, Prince Charles made sure that his wife was settled first before closing the door and entering the other side of the vehicle. The couple left St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing together but Prince William was no longer with them.
It is unclear if Prince Charles left his eldest son under the care of his nanny or if he was already escorted to the vehicle beforehand. Prince Harry was born on Sept. 15, 1984.
