Prince William and Prince Harry’s wives didn’t have the chance to meet their mom. However, Rowan Atkinson, popularly known as Mr. Bean, already met the royal. A photo of Princess Diana and Rowan’s meeting was shared on Reddit. Royal fans were ecstatic upon seeing it.

In the snap, Princess Diana and Atkinson are smiling at each other. Atkinson appears shy than his usual disposition every time he is in character as Mr. Bean. On the other hand, Princess Diana seems amused as she points a finger to the actor.

“I can only imagine this was awkward. He was probably wanting to be serious and respectful and she probably wanted him to be Mr. Bean,” one fan wrote.

Meanwhile, another user was wondering why Princess Diana was pointing a finger at Atkinson. According to another netizen, the Princess of Wales pointed at Atkinson while saying, “Don’t you ever call me a nerd!” in reference to his West End play entitled “The Nerd.”
