Princess Diana ‘Really Believed’ Someone Wanted To ‘Kill’ Her Because Of This
Princess Diana was convinced that someone was out to kill her even before the fatal car accident took place. In fact, the late royal somehow blamed herself for causing too much problem in other people’s lives.
In the podcast “Fatal Voyage: Diana Case Solved,” former homicide detective Colin McLaren revealed that Princess Diana was very paranoid about her car. While she was still alive, she thought that she would die in a car accident, and she was right.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward echoed McLaren’s statement by saying that Princess Diana also told her a similar thing. Seward said that the mom of two had obvious concerns about being on the road.
“She said, actually, ‘It sounds ridiculous now,’ as we were sitting there in the comfort of her sitting room in Kensington Palace, she said, ‘But I really did believe, genuinely, believe that someone was going to tamper with my car.’ “She said, ‘I really believed that.’ She said, ‘I was too much of a problem. They wanted to get rid of me,’” Seward said.
Princess Diana’s former royal butler, Paul Burrell, also said that his boss used to ask random palace staff to check her cars. Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom wanted to make sure that no one could tamper with her vehicle.
“She said to me, ‘Get underneath and see if you can see anything.’ ‘Is there a pipe cut where the brake fluid goes in?’ I said, ‘Your Royal Highness, I’m not an engineer. I don’t know these things.’ ‘Well, have a look. Is there anything unusual underneath the car?’” Burrell said.
And tragically, Princess Diana was actually killed in a car accident in Paris. At that time, she was in the vehicle with her boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed. Following her death, investigations were conducted and rumors swirled that Prince Charles had his ex-wife killed. The paparazzi were also blamed for the late royal’s accident.
