Princess Diana, Sarah Ferguson, Kate Middleton’s Baby Hospital Photos; Will Meghan Follow?

Will Meghan Markle really skip the hospital photo shoot after giving birth to her baby?
In the past years, royal moms tend to celebrate their baby’s arrival by having a photo shoot outside the hospital. Princess Diana, Sarah Ferguson, Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Kate Middleton all did it. There are rumors that the Duchess of Sussex may skip it, but it hasn’t been confirmed. A source said that Prince Harry’s wife doesn’t want to be pressured to look “immaculate” like Middleton after her delivery.
Here are some of the best baby hospital photos that the royal moms did:
Princess Diana
Princess Diana was among the most photographed women when she was still alive. Photographers didn’t miss her hospital exits after delivering Prince William and Prince Harry.
On June 22, 1982, the late Princess of Wales introduced Prince William to the world. She donned a polka-dot green dress when she presented the Duke of Cambridge to the photographers outside the hospital.
Two years after, Princess Diana made another baby debut. She wore a red dress with a white collar and made Prince Harry’s public debut a day after she delivered him. She completed her look by wearing a pair of matching red shoes.

Sarah Ferguson
In 1988, the Duke and Duchess of York were photographed leaving Portland Hospital following Princess Beatrice’s birth. After two years, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were pictured outside the same hospital for Princess Eugenie’s public debut.

Kate Middleton
The Duchess of Cambridge followed her mother-in-law by making a public debut for her babies after her delivery. Middleton had speedy hospital exits and was out of the facility just hours after giving birth to them.
Her outfits during her baby photo shoot outside the hospitals were reminiscent of Princess Diana. In 2013, when Middleton stepped out to introduce Prince George, she wore a blue polka dot dress which was very similar to the People’s Princess’s wardrobe when she introduced Prince William.

In 2015, Middleton opted for a pastel Jenny Packham yellow dress with buttercup prints. It featured long sleeves to accommodate the cooler spring weather.

In 2018, Middleton copied Princess Diana’s outfit again. She stepped out for Princess Louis’ public debut wearing a red dress just like what the Princess of Wales donned after she gave birth to Prince Harry.

Middleton looked pristine and immaculate during Prince Louis’ christening which didn’t sit well with a number of moms. According to radio host Meshel Laurie, the duchess is giving “unrealistic message” and was pressuring new moms to look as good after giving birth.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex
The Count and Countess of Wessex welcomed Lady Louis Windsor at Frimley Park Hospital in 2003. She gave birth prematurely via an emergency Caesarean section due to placental abruption. In 2007, Sophie gave birth to her second child James Viscount Severn in the same hospital.
