Princess Eugenie Copies This Royal’s Wedding And It’s Not Prince Harry, Meghan
Princess Eugenie’s will copy one aspect of her wedding from another royal and it’s not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Emily Hodgkin, a journalist for Express, said that Princess Eugenie’s wedding procession route will be similar to that of Sophie Rhys-Jones and Prince Edward when they wed on June 19, 1999.
Prince Edward, the youngest son of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II, rode the carriage with his wife from St. George’s Chapel to St. George’s Hall. Prince Harry and Markle, who also had a carriage procession on May 19, went on a much longer route so that more fans could see them.
But since Princess Eugenie is not a working royal, it is possible that her carriage procession was shortened. More specifically, she and Brooksbank will ride the horse-drawn carriage from the Royal Mews, out of Windsor Castle and on to part of the High Street.
In related news, Princess Eugenie has already sent out invites to her wedding to the public. Latifa Yedroudj, a journalist for Express, claimed that those that were invited were ecstatic to receive a letter from Princess Eugenie herself.
The text on the invitation reads, “I am delighted to enclose your Entry Cards for attendance in the precincts of Windsor Castle on Friday 12th October 2018 to celebrate the marriage of HRH Princess Eugenie of York and Mr. Jack Brooksbank.”
Several royal fans who received an invitation took their thoughts to Twitter to express their excitement for the big day.
“Just received my email advising me I have been successful in my application to the Royal Wedding of HRH Princess Eugenie of York to Mr. Jack Brooksbank. Cannot wait!! @RoyalFamily hope the sun is shining,” one fan wrote.
“My entry card for the wedding of HRH Princess Eugenie of York arrived today. Only a few weeks to go now & I’ll be in the grounds of #WindsorCastle watching the whole @RoyalFamily arrive for the special occasion #excited,” another fan tweeted.
