Princess Eugenie’s Wedding Service Order Different From Meghan Markle’s For This Reason
Princess Eugenie’s order of service on Oct. 12 will be different from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s nuptials on May 19.
Kate Harris, a journalist for Express, revealed that the font used for the order of service at the upcoming wedding is plainer compared to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s more elaborate calligraphy font.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter has also chosen a traditional marriage service, unlike Prince Harry and Markle that opted for a more contemporary one. And in the order of service, Brooksbank’s middle name, Stamp, has been highlighted.
“I Jack Christopher Stamp take thee Eugenie Victoria Helena to be my wedded wife,” it read.
The Dean of Windsor will officiate Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s wedding, while Reverend Michael Curry was the one that officiated Prince Harry and Markle’s ceremony.
Markle and Prince Harry invited Kingdom Choir and 19-year-old cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason to perform songs at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for their wedding. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank asked Andrea Bocelli and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform at her special day.
The last page of Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s order of service will also feature an abstract created by American artist Mark Bradford. The piece of modern art is highly likely to be a nod to Princess Eugenie’s work as a director of the contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth in London.
Prince Harry and Markle’s order of service didn’t feature an artwork on its last page.
Meanwhile. Princess Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, will also serve as her maid of honor. She will be delivering a speech from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel “The Great Gatsby.”
Princess Beatrice was present at Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding, but she didn’t have a special role just like the one she will be having on Friday.
Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s wedding will wrap up with the National Anthem, that is typically played at the end of all royal nuptials.
