Princess Marie And Prince Joachim Feature On Website Of Royal Palace Of Denmark
Princess Marie and Prince Joachim along with their kids and pet pooch have featured on the official website of the Royal Palace of Denmark. Marie celebrated her 40th birthday on Saturday. Besides, it is also Queen Margrethe’s 44th year on the Danish throne.
The picture on the Kongehuset shows Marie dressed in a black top with blue jeans. She pairs her look with ankle-strap high heels, while her short tresses are left loose. On her lap sits Princess Athena while her six-year-old son Prince Henrik sits on her left side.
She is flanked by her husband Joachim, 46, on her right side. He is seen wearing dark blue jeans, white shirt and purple sweater. Their pet dog Abelle also made sat next to them on a separate sofa. The little prince and princess looked cute in their vibrant outfits.
The family-of-four along with Abelle was seated in a reception room at the Amalienborg Palace. The Paris-born Marie stole the show in the picture that was released on the Kongehuset website. The Danish royal couple also posed for two other pictures in different rooms in the Amalienborg Palace complex.
The second picture shows Marie and Jochim sharing an intimate moment. The couple laugh as Marie leans on her husband with her hand placed on his chest. Joachim has his hand placed on his wife’s waist. In the third picture, the couple appear to be dressed for some event.
Joachim wears a black tuxedo paired with white shirt and black lace-up shoes. Marie looks stunning in a red flared skirt paired with black lacy short sleeves top. She pairs her look with sheer tights and black high heels. The prince, meanwhile, complements his wife’s dress with a red pocket squared.
To celebrate the momentous occasion of Queen Margrethe’s 44 years on the throne and Marie’s 40th birthday, the royals invited Hello for a rare interview and photoshoot. These pictures are from the magazine shoot.
“It was pure coincidence that we met,” said Joachim, who was married to Alexandra Manley, Countess of Frederiksborg, with whom he has two sons. The couple known as the Counts of Monpezat, opened up about how they met and the manner in which they are raising their children.
