Princesses Eugenie, Beatrice ‘Deeply Distressed’ Following Father Prince Andrew’s Controversial Interview
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are reportedly “deeply distressed” following their father’s controversial interview.
Last week, the Duke of Sussex finally has finally broken his silence about the Epstein drama that has been plaguing him for months. He denied that he had sex with Virginia Roberts who was only 17 years old at the time. Unfortunately, many felt that it would have been better if the duke did not grace the said interview.
According to an insider, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters are affected by the duke’s controversy. In fact, the two royals are “deeply distressed” especially that days after the interview, Prince Andrew announced that he would be stepping down from his royal duties.
“Andrew was fighting not just for his survival but for all their survival,” a source told The Daily Beast. “Andrew and Sarah will obviously be worried about how his resignation impacts their children’s future.”
The Yorks are very close to each other. Earlier this year, they were mocked for a stunning folie de grandeur after Princess Eugenie asked to be given a full royal wedding equivalent in splendor to that Of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Princess Beatrice is the next royal bride to walk down the aisle. A close pal told the publication that Princess Beatrice is unlikely to follow her younger sister’s wedding.
There are rumors that Princess Beatrice won’t be inviting her father Prince Andrew on her royal wedding. The soon-to-be bride reportedly doesn’t want any drama to ruin her special day.
However, royal fans should take the report with a grain of salt because the Yorks are very close. Despite the issues, it is still likely that Prince Andrew will walk his daughter down the aisle on her big day.
“The girls have both been not just reconciled to but have actually welcomed living more normal lives and having normal jobs for some time now, even if their parents have not. Say what you like about the Yorks, but the loyalty of that family is something to behold,” the source said about Prince Andrew and Ferguson’s family.
