Priyanka Chopra Talks About 'The Matrix Resurrections,' Celebrating Christmas With Husband Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra has opened up about her upcoming movie, "The Matrix Resurrections," and spending the holidays with her husband, Nick Jonas.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight over the weekend, Chopra said: "I think we're still about building traditions. Our big tradition is trying to spend Christmas together because we're always doing so many things apart."

The 39-year-old actress further explained that her holiday plan is as simple as spending time with her family at home.

Besides Christmas, Chopra has another reason to celebrate as she will debut as Sati's character in "The Matrix" franchise.

Chopra, who attended "The Matrix Resurrections" premiere over the weekend, noted that the colors of her outfit during the event are the colors of her character in the movie.

A fan shared a photo of her stunning outfit on Twitter.

"These are the colors of my character," Chopra explained. "So I just thought I'd have a little fun with the only premiere we've had in, like, three years now."

She also talked about how she felt about joining the iconic franchise and what it was like working with the upcoming movie's cast members.

"It's crazy," she said, adding: "It feels so incredible to be part of this incredible cast, this iconic movie, but also such fun people making an incredible movie that people are going to enjoy and have been anticipating for almost 20 years."

Chopra also had nice things to say about Keanu Reeves. "He looks at people. He understands what happening, and that's an amazing quality about him," she explained.

"The Matrix Resurrections," which is scheduled to premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on Dec. 22, also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Jessica Henwick, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Daniel Bernhardt and Neil Patrick Harris.

Apart from this movie, Chopra will also appear in "Text for You," "Sheela," "Jee Le Zaraa" and "Cowboy Ninja Viking."

The actress has been married to Jonas since 2018. The couple has been actively posting about their married life on social media.

Chopra even shared a fun photo with her husband in August. In the said snap, the actress could be seen flaunting her beach body while the 28-year-old singer jokingly used a fork and a butter knife on her butt cheek, about to have a "snack."
