Priyanka Chopra's Memoir 'Unfinished' Featured In New York Times Best Sellers List

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram on Thursday to share that her newly released memoir, "Unfinished," has made it to the New York Times Best Sellers list.

The 38-year-old actress shared a video slideshow of her herself and a glimpse of the book and thanked everyone who supported her book.

"Soooo this happened...in less than a week...The New York Times Best Sellers list!! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported #Unfinished. Endlessly grateful," she captioned the post.

The book is packed with many personal stories, including anecdotes from the actress' early days in the Indian film industry. In one of the chapters, she talks about how a director asked her to show her panties for a scene. The memoir also discusses her controversial nose surgery and how it gave birth to the "Plastic Chopra" tag.

In her book, the "Baywatch" star also reflects on her skin tone and recalls being criticized by her own uncle, revealing that she has always been conscious about having darker skin compared to other family members.

She talks about her love life in the book, too, mentioning how she met Nick Jonas while dealing with depression. The actress also shares that they began planning their wedding immediately after the singer proposed to her.

"Once I'd said yes, we stayed up until 8:30 in the morning FaceTiming our families and friends. Then the wedding planning essentially began," she said as per US Magazine.

Chopra's latest projects include "The White Tiger," starring Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav. The movie revolves around an ambitious driver who wants to escape poverty and become an entrepreneur.

In an Instagram post dated Feb. 2, the actress celebrated the positive responses to the film. In the said post, she can be seen wearing a white tiger-inspired outfit while holding the leash of her dog Diana.

The actress also launched her new haircare line, Anomaly, in the last week of January 2021.
