According to Helidosa, the long-range Gulfstream GIVSP jet was headed to Miami, CNN reported.
Flight records obtained by People revealed that the plane crashed at the nearby Las Americas International Airport not long after it took off from Isabela International Airport. According to Flightradar 24, the flight crashed just 15 minutes after takeoff, the CNN report said.
The exact cause of the crash or the emergency landing has yet to be known.
In a statement, Helidosa said: "This accident causes us great pain and grief. We ask that you prudently join in solidarity to support the families affected, who along with us are going through this difficult time."
Flow, born Jose Angel Hernandez, produced “Te Boté,” which topped Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs for 14 weeks after it was released in 2018.
Flow was also behind Nio Garcia’s “AM,” as well as “La Jeepeta.” Flow has also released his own music, “Travesuras,” which ranked No. 1 on Latin Airplay, Tropical Airplay, and Latin Rhythm Airplay on March 6, Billboard reported.
Soon as news of Flow’s passing emerged, several musical artists paid tributes, including Ricardo Montaner, Don Omar, and J Balvin. Omar said “Thanks for the opportunity to collaborate. Fly high, see you later,” while Balvin wrote “Thank you for your vibra alta always!”
