‘Quantico’ Season 1 Spoilers: Midseason Premiere Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In Episode 12? [VIDEO & PHOTOS]
“Quantico” Season 1 will return on Sunday, but will it bring viewers any answers? In the winter finale, the agents still had no idea who the terrorist was, and the ABC drama ended on a cliffhanger with another attack. Unfortunately, even though Alex (Priyanka Chopra) was in custody at the time of the second bombing, she’ll still have to convince the court of her innocence.
“Alex finds herself in the middle of a congressional hearing to testify about the terrorist bombings,” the synopsis teases. She’ll likely have to tell the court that she lied about being guilty in order to help find the real terrorist. However, she’ll also have to make them see that Elias (Rick Cosnett) wasn’t the only culprit. “Convinced Elias didn’t act alone, she is determined to find answers and the truth,” the summary says.
The second attack will probably make Alex even more anxious to find the bomber. A trailer for the midseason premiere, titled “Alex,” reveals that 32 agents were killed. Watch the promo video for “Quantico” Season 1, episode 12 below:
In the present day timeline, Alex will be introduced to new NATS. It sounds like the trainees will start some drama with the recruits who have already been in the program for several months. There might even be some group rivalries. The new kids’ arrival causes “tension and competition between the groups of trainees.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, three new trainees will take the spotlight: Will Olsen (Jay Armstrong Johnson), a genius lacking social skills, Drew Perales (Lenny Platt), a retired NFL football player, and Iris Chang (Li Jun Li), a wealthy tech maven. They aren’t the only ones audiences will see at Quantico. Though Elias is dead in the future timeline, he’ll still pop up in the present. Rick Cosnett is listed as a guest star in episode 12.
“Quantico” Season 1, episode 12 airs Sunday, March 6, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
