Queen Elizabeth II celebrated the finale of her Platinum Jubilee on Sunday with a parade, pageant and street parties.

The Jubilee Pageant includes a military parade, cultural representation from across the Commonwealth and a musical finale by pop singer Ed Sheeran.

“When it comes to how to mark seventy years as your Queen, there is no guidebook to follow. It really is a first. But I have been humbled and deeply touched that so many people have taken to the streets to celebrate my Platinum Jubilee,” Queen Elizabeth II said in statement.

“While I may not have attended every event in person, my heart has been with you all; and I remain commuted to serving you to the best of my ability, supported by my family,” she said.

Queen Elizabeth II appeared on a balcony of Buckingham Palace Sunday wearing bright green with her family at the close of the parade while "God Save The Queen" played.

There was a concert and light show Saturday outside Buckingham Palace.

The Platinum Jubilee was also celebrated with the Trooping the Color military parade.
