Queen Elizabeth II Stuns In Floral Outfits Over The Decades
Queen Elizabeth II has been named as one of the most fashionable members of the British royal family. And there is one style that she looks great in.
Town & Country recently compiled some of the Queen’s throwback photos wherein she is wearing floral pieces, starting off with a picture from October 1950.
In the black and white snap, the Queen is wearing a long-sleeved floral dress while carrying her only daughter Princess Anne. Prince Philip is sitting beside his wife while wearing his suit. The photo was taken during Princess Anne’s christening.
Five years later, the Queen wore a floral dress with a flowy and pleated skirt when she posed for a photograph with King Haakon of Norway. At that time, Her Majesty traveled to Norway for her engagement.
One year later, the Queen stepped out in public in her light blue floral dress and matching hat and bag when she flew to Nigeria for her royal visit. In the same year, she wore another floral dress and floral jacket when she attended a horse show in Roehampton.
Several years later, the Queen stunned in her blue and black floral dress that she accentuated with her brooch and pearls when she posed with one of her corgis at Sandringham House. Five years later, the monarch donned a pink and red floral dress during her state visit to Mexico.
In 1976, the Queen once again wore a green and white floral dress for a photo shoot with some of the members of the royal family. In the snap, the Queen is standing in between Prince Edward and Prince Andrew.
Three years later, Her Majesty paired her yellow and pink floral formal gown with a stunning tiara during her visit to Bahrain.
Until today, the Queen still enjoys wearing floral dresses and she’s still able to rock them even at her age of 92. She was last seen in one when she met the King and Queen of Belgium last year.
