Queen Elizabeth threw a tantrum as a young girl while learning French. Her Majesty reportedly became frustrated because she struggled a lot while learning the language.

In the book “ The Little Princesses: The Story of the Queen’s Childhood,” royal author Nanny Crawfie recounted how Her Majesty became upset while attending French lessons conducted by a certain Mademoiselle.

On one occasion, the teacher asked the Queen to write endless columns of verbs. And mid-way while trying to complete her task, the Queen just gave up and threw a tantrum. According to Crawfie, the monarch poured a bowl of ink all over herself.

“Lilibet, goaded by her boredom to violent measures, had picked up a big ornamental silver inkpot and, without saying anything, tipped it over her own head. Sadly, I never did learn the full story. Mademoiselle was past explaining and left soon afterward,” she said.

Meanwhile, the Queen also became frustrated with a more recent incident in her life. According to royal expert Dickie Arbiter, Her Majesty is not pleased with the fact that she hasn’t received any answers from Prince Andrew.

Arbiter told “Good Morning Britain” host Piers Morgan that the Queen would want to know what’s going on with the Duke of York in private.

“We’ve got to look at the Queen as two people - she’s head of state and also a mother. She will be looking at her son and asking ‘did this really happen?’ in private conversation. She has to put on a brave face in public, she has to be collegiate in public. But in private she will really want to know from Andrew what is going on, and I don’t think she’s getting the answers,” he said.

Morgan added that it’s only a matter of time before the Queen knows the gravity of what Prince Andrew did.

“She will know this is really serious, this is not just Harry and Meghan behaving hypocritically about private jets, which is a low-level irritation. This is big stuff. What will she be looking to do, do you think, to try and deal with this?” Morgan said.
