Queen Elizabeth previously shared an exciting detail about her great-grandchildren, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Last year, Her Majesty gave a signed bible to 10-year-old Emily Clay, who won the book for a religious project in school. During the monarch’s conversation with the youngster, the Queen asked Clay if she takes good care of her younger sister, Haleigh.

Clay’s mom, Ellen, responded to the Queen’s question by saying that it’s actually the other way around. It is Haleigh that looks after her older sister. Upon hearing this, Her Majesty said that this is also the dynamics between Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The 4-year-old is also the one that looks after Prince George even though the future King is two years older than her. This is the so-called second child syndrome. Princess Charlotte and other middle or second kids tend to look after their older siblings because they are more confident.

And Princess Charlotte’s confidence has been witnessed by millions of people across the world on different occasions. For instance, she stuck her tongue out in public while at an event with her parents and older brother.

Princess Charlotte also made headlines after she stared at the paparazzi and told them that they weren’t invited to Prince Louis’ christening. And during her other recent outings, Princess Charlotte proved that she is as energetic – if not more energetic than Prince George.

A source also told People last year that Princess Charlotte tends to take charge of her two brothers. She’s also quite chatty and cheeky that’s why the public is drawn to her.

Earlier this week, Princess Charlotte also started her schooling at Thomas’s Battersea where her brother is also enrolled. The 4-year-old was accompanied by Middleton and Prince William during the outing.

Princess Charlotte didn’t show any nerves during the outing. Rather, it was Prince William and Middleton who seemed tensed while walking their two older kids to school.
