Queen Elizabeth II scolded Princess Eugenie during an outing with Prince William, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice.

An unearthed BBC documentary titled “Elizabeth R,” which aired on Feb. 6, 1992, has resurfaced. The footage shows Queen Elizabeth II having quality time with her grandchildren.

The Queen, Prince William, Prince Harry, Zara Phillips, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are outside Balmoral Castle pony trekking around the estate. The Queen is seen helping Princess Beatrice get on her pony, Smokey, while Princess Eugenie stands next to Queen Elizabeth II. She was too young to enjoy the fun with the rest of her cousins as she was only 2 years old at the time.

Suddenly, the Queen scolds Princess Eugenie because she was already stepping on her grandmother’s foot.

“Ouch! It is my foot you are standing on!”

The Queen holds Princess Eugenie’s hand and guides the rest of her grandchildren down a path.

In the same documentary, Queen Elizabeth II said that there was a “certain fascination” in keeping the place as Queen Victoria had it. She was pleased that all of her grandchildren liked it because they sensed freedom in the place.

“One could go to miles and not see anybody,” the Queen continued. “It is endless possibilities and we like picnics and open air.”

Queen Elizabeth II remains close to her grandchildren. In April, Princess Eugenie accompanied Queen Elizabeth II for her engagement on Maundy Thursday.

However, the princess got tongues wagging as she was photographed with what looked like a baby bump underneath her floral Erdem frock. At present, the palace has not made any announcement about Princess Eugenie’s rumored pregnancy.

Queen Elizabeth II is also often seen with Prince William and Prince Harry in several engagements. However, according to royal expert Ingrid Seward, the Queen’s favorite grandchildren are not Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sons.

Seward said that the Queen is more relaxed when she’s around Princess Anne’s children, Zara and Peter Phillips. In fact, the Queen used to give Zara a smack around her legs when she was naughty which frequently happened. Seward added that among the reasons could be the fact that they were her first grandchildren.
