Queen Elizabeth’s Sweet Bonding Moments With Grandchildren Zara, William, Harry, Beatrice Revisited

Queen Elizabeth spent a lot of time with her grandchildren especially when they were still much younger.

Insider recently compiled some of Her Majesty’s sweetest photos with Zara Tindall, Princess William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie when they were still kids.

In 1984, the monarch accompanied Peter and Zara Phillips to see their mom, Princess Anne, ride horses in Great Windsor Park. In the black and white snap, the Queen seems to be holding Zara’s hand. The Queen also cradled Zara on her lap while at a polo match at Smith’s Lawn Polo Ground in Windsor.

Three years later, the doting grandmother was photographed reading to Zara while at the Windsor Horse Show. When they were much older, the Queen still spent some time with Princess Anne’s children. She was also present at their respective weddings.

In another photo, the Queen is seen smiling from ear to ear while on her way to church. Inside her vehicle are Prince Philip, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie, who were still very young. Even though Prince Andrew split from Sarah Ferguson, Her Majesty still made sure to include her granddaughter in the royal family.

In 1988, a beautiful photo of the Queen clad in an all-white ensemble was released. In the snap, she is assisting Prince William, Prince Harry, Peter, and Zara while they are on board a fire truck at the Sandringham Museum.

One year earlier, Her Majesty bonded with Prince William and Prince Harry at a polo match. She also stood behind Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s two sons while at the Trooping the Colour in 1988.

And in 1991, the monarch visited Peter and Zara at Port Regis School. In the snap, Peter is showing his grandmother his invention. And the Queen couldn’t help but laugh at Prince William’s antics when he ran towards the camera while Prince Harry’s baptismal photo was being taken.

The Queen continues to spend time with her grandchildren and the other members of her royal family especially Prince William and Prince Harry who are working royals.
