'Rambo 5: Last Blood': Nostalgia Moments For John
“Rambo 5: Last Blood” will be the final film of the franchise. The film will have some nostalgic moments for the fans who have seen the previous movies and know about the history and background of the protagonist. Sylvester Stallone recently shared pictures comparing his character John’s look from when he was just 20 years old.
Stallone has been teasing scenes from his last film about John Rambo. His most recent post on Instagram showed his character when he was just 20 years old, and this picture has been compared to the character’s present position as a rancher in the U.S. The actor also looked back at the illustrious career of his character.
John Rambo was an Air Force chopper pilot in 1968. He was transferred to the Special Forces in 70, and he later joined the Delta Force from 1977 to 78.
Stallone also teased a dialogue from the upcoming movie. “Wars starts on the OUTSIDE, but never end on the INSIDE…” John says.
The dialogue and the contrast of the pictures are significant for “Rambo 5: Last Blood.” The film will show John living the life of a cowboy, but Stallone’s post suggested that the former soldier is not really leading a peaceful life.
There will be a constant war that will go on in John’s mind. It remains to be seen if this is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or if the former soldier is itching to see some action again.
Readers should note that it was PTSD that triggered the events in the first “Rambo” movie. The second picture that Stallone shared on Instagram showed his character in a lot of stress.
Some of the other nostalgic elements in the film are John’s trademark bow, which Stallone previously teased on instagram, and a new hunting knife that Stallone revealed on Instagram. “The Heart-Stopper” is the name of the new knife.
“Rambo 5: Last Blood” is directed by Adrian Grunberg. The film will be released sometime this year.
