'Rambo 5: Last Blood': Sylvester Stallone Teases John's Adopted Daughter
Sylvester Stallone has shared a new teaser photo from his upcoming film, “Rambo 5: Last Blood.” The scene shows John spending time with his adopted daughter, and the scene is from the first act of the movie.
John (Sylvester Stallone) has an adopted daughter Gabrielle (Yvette Monreal) in the upcoming film. The veteran actor shared a movie still on Instagram that showed John going horseback riding with his daughter.
The name of the horse that Stallone was riding in the picture is American Gun, the actor revealed in the post. American Gun is apparently a world champion.
Stallone described the scene as John enjoying some “peace and quiet” with his adopted daughter before “the violent STORM.” The main plot of “Rambo 5” is expected to be about a Mexican cartel, but before that the fans will get to see the former soldier helping people during a storm.
After coming back to America, Stallone was last seen at his father’s ranch. That was supposed to be the end of the journey, with the character spending the rest of his days living the quite country life. However, things will not go as planned and the former soldier will be forced to pick up his gun one last time to protect the two women in his life that he cares about.
Even before John takes on the Mexican cartel, he will be involved in some action sequences. A previous still from the movie posted on Instagram gave the fans a glimpse of the storm that will be featured in the movie.
Stallone teased that his character will volunteer for some dangerous rescue missions in the film. The scene he shared online was from one of these missions during a “lethal flash flood.”
Apart from the movie stills, Stallone also shared a motivating message on Instagram. The actor quoted a dialogue from one of the “Rocky” movies to motivate his fans to take charge if they are having a bad day.
“Rambo 5: Last Blood” is set to be released on Sept. 20. The film has been directed by Adrian Grunberg.
