Razer Phone Price Confirmed At $699; Specs Include 120Hz Display, 8GB RAM
The Razer Phone is official as of Wednesday and will be available in the U.S. and Europe Nov. 17, selling for $699. One of the device’s highlight features its 120Hz "Ultramotion" display, which compensates for performance lag on the device if its framerate slows to below 120 frames per second.
The Razer Phone features an LCD display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The high-refresh, adaptive display allows the device to produce high-quality imaging, despite not being an OLED display.
The Razer Phone is intended as a gaming smartphone, and include several other high-powered specs, such as 8GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 4,000 mAh battery. The Razer Phone is also the first device to support QuickCharge 4+ from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip. Its cameras include a 12-megapixel dual set up and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Design-wise, the Razer Phone will come in two models. While both feature black frames, one model, will serve as a special edition with a green Razer logo.
The Razer phone will be compatible with GSM networks, such as AT&T and T-Mobile.
