As London youths rampaged through districts of the UK capital for three nights, British people copied the looters’ tactics on Wednesday by starting to clean up shopping streets littered with debris from a night of looting.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron said "a fight-back is under way" to restore law and order to Britain's streets despite rioting, looting and arson by gangs of hooded youths spreading from London to other cities, Reuters reported.
Cameron vowed on Thursday to hunt down the street gangsters and opportunistic looters he blamed for “Britain's worst violence in decades.”
While he acknowledged that police tactics had failed at the start of the rioting, young Londoners, citizens and more British people seemed to be in positive spirit to fight back.
Here are a few latest pictures that depict UK is getting back to life after the riots.
