‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Kenya Moore Accuses NeNe Leakes Of Almost Getting Her Fired

Since “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 aired, NeNe Leakes has been trying to repair her strained relationships with her cast members. However, during a recent interview, Kenya Moore accused NeNe of being fake and trying to get her fired.

Viewers have seen NeNe turn over a new leaf and try to live a more positive life after years of being at the center of “RHOA” feuds. Although she has tried to make amends for her behavior in the past, Kenya believes the 52-year-old has only changed her ways to help her career.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kenya revealed that although she shared an emotional moment with NeNe on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12, the Swagg Boutique owner has tried to get her fired.

“She tried to get me fired before I was even hired on the show. I just think that she’s always been very intimidated by my presence on the show. And, when I was not on the show, I was still being talked about … I was still relevant, so that bothered her,” Kenya revealed.

“And so, then it becomes, ‘Why did you invite Kenya to your launch party to celebrate you? And at eight months pregnant?’ Like why is that an issue for you? So again, if you watch who she really is, you will see that she is extremely intimidated, jealous, envious -- whatever you want to call it -- of my presence on the show.”

Kenya claimed NeNe has only tried to fix broken friendships to maintain her spot on the cast. “You’re just making up with people because you have to because you have no one else to film with or nothing else to do, you know? So, that’s what that is,” she said.

The former pageant queen alleged that she and Nene never had a genuine bond. “We don’t have a friendship. I don’t think we ever did have a friendship, I think I was just convenient, and a convenient ally… so yeah, I don’t really see the value in being or attempting to be fake friends with her,” she explained.

Although both women have multiple “RHOA” seasons under their belt, Kenya believes NeNe’s days on the reality series are numbered.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
