'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 7 Reunion Spoilers: NeNe Leakes Reportedly Cried At Taping Due To Cast Drama; Is She Leaving The Show?

Things are going to get real during "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion. According to E! News, there will be no shortage of drama or tears as the ladies of the ATL - with the exception of newcomer Demitria McKinney - reunite to discuss Season 7. E! says Demitria opted to sit this reunion out as "she didn't register" with viewers this season. One housewife may even leave the Bravo TV stage for good following the special, according to reports.

Sources close to the Bravo show's production tell E! viewers can expect to see head housewife NeNe Leakes get emotional as the cast discusses their intense season. As you may recall, the "Cinderella" star found herself at the center of much of this seasons drama. During a recent episode a few of the women even referred to her as "cancer" of the group.

The 47-year-old tried many times throughout the season to bring the ladies together to reconcile their differences, only to discover a majority of the group felt it was her that was causing the problems. E! is now reporting that viewers will see NeNe reduced to tears - something that doesn't often happen - during the reunion special.

"She cried. You know, this has been a rough season on her and the reunion just rehashes all that," the source revealed. "At one point, she got very emotional."

NeNe reportedly walked off during the reunion special taping after the finger pointing and accusations became too much for her to handle. The source confirms, however, that she did return to finish filming, saying she simply needed "a break." They also claim viewers will see a different side of NeNe than the one they've come to know and love. In previous years, NeNe has gotten defensive when confronted by the other women - perhaps she's gone soft?

"It was refreshing to see NeNe show some emotion. In the past she's been very guarded at reunions. This time, you'll see something different from her," the source said.

Though it remains unclear if this will be the last time we see NeNe as part of the "Real Housewives" franchise, it is far from the end of her time on Bravo. The former "The New Normal" actress is currently working on a new show alongside former enemy Kim Zolciak Biermann. The reality series, which is reportedly called "NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches," was recently announced during Bravo, Oxygen and Esquire's Upfront's in New York. NeNe told E! she was looking forward to the change of pace after having a hard time with her "RHOA" castmates in Season 7.

"Well, one of the things I"m most excited about is working with Kim, just the two of us," she said. "I just left 'Housewives' where I was working with like, six monsters."

A release date for the spin-off has yet to be announced. There is still one episode left before "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion premieres. Be sure to tune in this Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo to catch the last of the ladies' trip to the Philippines!
